Deja vu all over again

There is always something wrong when your supervisor tells you he needs to see you in his office.

For some you can file harrassment complaints. For others we get the song and dance about how they really like you and the work you do, but... Call it a vacation or early retirement, or whatever,

suddenly being unemployed sucks.

This time around( almost 16 years) we are on much better financial footings. No house payment, car payment, motorhome's paid off, no kids at home, but...... still too many years to go till retirement. Also we have a Great God who does provide, and He gives peace of mind in every situation. All praise to Him who reigns on High

Futbol and stuff

The ducks pulled it off again. Fumbles , wide snaps for safeties, other miscues.and still they won, with 6 seconds left to play . And they did it all as I was putting around Eugene and Springfield getting prices on some old guns That my dad gave me. Seems that they were nice guns but fired obsolete ammo. Available only in specialtystores or catalogs. However one was a fairly collectable Colt revolver in excellent condition. I found a collector who was interested and wound up at his house during the last few minutes of the game.
Long story shortened, he bought them for cash and I found myself at another gun shop buying a lightly used Smith and Wesson 45 M&P. Sweet handgun. Can't wait to get out to shoot it.

Kicking and screaming he's dragged into the electronic communication age.
Spouse and prolific writer female child give a guy no rest - just because I now have to create something every 4 months for the Church newsletter. So here I am, in my late 50's, starting a new stage of life.
